The lost art of photography
I love old cameras. I collect old cameras. It is a shame that film is becoming more scarce and obsolete. I am just like the rest of you who have gone to the dark side of digital. A few weeks ago I developed a roll of velvia film I had in my Yashica camera. I recently finished up the roll at a friends baby's birthday party. I haven't used the camera before that in maybe two years. I got it cross processed and to my delight when I got it back were photos from a trip to Indonesia two years ago, photos from Australia and photos from a surf contest in Huntington Beach three years ago. That is why I love film. It isn't instant gratification, but it is PURE gratification.

Lovers Land Artshow Sydney
Dustin Humphrey is a very talented photographer who lives a very blessed life. He shoots for Surfing Magazine, lives in Bali with his Indonesian wife and one year old son and gets to travel the world shooting amazing photos of his friends which happen to be pro surfers. His new project, Lovers'20Land, just had an artshow during fashion week in Sydney. Think surf, motorcycles, and the bohemian, gypsy lifestyle. For more images from his adventure check out his blog: www.LoversLandBlog.com
